FOAM SHORES, DAUGHTER OF THE SEA
(originally Lagoona Blue)
(originally Lagoona Blue)
FOAM SHORES, DAUGHTER OF THE SEA She is chosen for her love and passion for the sea. She takes care of the ocean and also grief for all the suffering of the sea. She is happiest when dancing by sea to the sound of crashing waves against the shores. This is my first ever Monster High Custom Doll! :) I actually made it especially to send to a Youtuber that I like, Dollastic (link to her channel here). She lives in USA and she does toy and doll reviews, including Monster High, Ever After High, My Little Pony, and many more. I enjoy watching her videos, and getting to see all her reviews and collection. I weaved her bodice and made her skirt from paper and glued on circles of metallic silver, gold, and blue to get a mermaid tail kind of feel. I also added a net on her skirt and dark blue tulle under her skirt. Originally the Doll (Lagoona Blue) had bright yellow hair, but I colored it black with some black marker and voila! Her hair is also decorated with sewn on small crystal beads. I hope Dollastic likes her! |
SKALETTAL, GUARDIAN OF CENTER EARTH
(originally Skeletta)
(originally Skeletta)
SKALETTAL, GUARDIAN OF CENTER EARTH Skalettal lives at the center of earth, taking care of the world's most valuable minerals and resources. She fights everyday as she witnesses humans exploit and destroy her home. She is a warrior like guardian, half metal, half skeleton, and all fabulous in black. This is my second custom doll and she was a continuation of my first custom doll, the daughter/ guardian of nature and earth line series ~ which I thought was a great idea. This is the first time I had to sewn together a dress and make my own doll stand. Her stand was made from plastic spoons and covered and sculpted with clay to create a more landscape like stand of where she would find herself. I also reused some of the original Skeletta accessories and repainted them to accentuate the outfit (golden belt, black bracelets and necklace). Overall, I really like her, she turned out pretty good. |
